Increasers and Reducers
When the gearboxes have both gears with different amounts of teeth.

It is called an increaser when the insight shaft is mounted on the gear with the larger quantity of teeth (crown), thus the output shaft rotates faster than the input shaft.

The gearbox is called right-angle when it only has two shafts (input and output),
